B.F.A. (Applied Art) or Bachelor of Fine Art in Applied Art is an undergraduate Fine Art course. It is a four years program of study with specialization of Illustration, Typography, Photography, Exhibition & Display Design & Computer Graphic. Which deals with the application of Web Interface Design, Digital Publishing design and aesthetics to objects of function and everyday use. An integrated course is offered in the first year, and the remaining three years are allocated for specialization in Applied Art. In other words, B.F.A. (Applied Art) is a degree that trains a student in the fields of Communication Design, Information design, Graphic design, Exhibition/Display design, Advertising and Photography etc. The B.F.A. (Applied art) degree course gives full exposure to advertising, communication design, print media and electronic media.
Candidate should have passed the HSC (Std.XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education, its equivalent examination with English as one of the subject and secured minimum 45% marks in aggregate (40% marks in aggregate for backward class category candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only).
Prescribed application form duly filled must be submitted to the college along with the following Certificates.
